Bottoms Up!

I made a HUGE mess during this shoot! My kitchen still smells like a keg party...

 

This shot was for a self promo assignment in my commercial class.  Other than cleaning up the mess, the preparation and set up was the most challenging part of this shoot.  I used a cannon 5D, ISO 100, with a 28-135mm lens.  My exposure was 1/100 @ f/5.  I used one mono light and small reflector cards above and below the bottle.  I also used one large fill card about 4 ft. away (to the right) perpendicular to the bottle  to throw a little light back on the scene without causing unwanted reflections in the glass.

For this shot, I used a cannon 30D with a 300mm lens.  I shot at f/9 at ISO 100.  Next, I used one mono light on low power w/ a soft box.  I used a second mono light with a purple gel on the background.  Then I tweaked it in the ACR!
